This page explains how to install Encore on your Web page, enabling all of your site's visitors to contribute data about how they experience Internet censorship. For more information about Encore, visit the Encore home page.

Quick installation

Add this line on your pages:

<iframe src="//encore.noise.gatech.edu/task.html" width="0" height="0" style="display: none"></iframe>

That's it! Your page's visitors will now collect measurements about how they experience Web censorship.

Optional collection statistics

Although not necessary, Encore can display statistics about how many censorship measurements your page has collected. Don't include the <iframe> tag list above. Instead, include the Encore script directly by placing this line near the end of your Web page, before the </body> tag:

Then, add this span tag somewhere on your page:

Encore will populate the tag with a sentence describing this page's usage statistics. Statistics currently update once an hour. Here's an example:
